Get Connected

Life at Christ Community goes beyond weekend worship

It’s about ministering to our families, our communities, and each other. There’s so much happening here—we want to make it easy for you to meet people and find out all our church has for you and your family. There’s no better time than now to take your next step of connection.

We want to meet you.  Our pastors would love to get the chance to introduce themselves to you, give you information about the church, and answer any questions you may have about the church.

If you are considering making Christ Community your church home or would just like to find out more about our history, vision and mission, we invite you to join us for lunch at Step Two (our treat!)

This informal luncheon will give you a solid understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. It is designed to help you learn what it means to Worship, Walk with, Work for, and Witness about Christ here at Christ Community. The class is led by one of our pastors and is a great way to connect and meet our church leadership and others who are new to the church. Step Two happens the 2nd week of every month.

Small Groups

Small groups are uncommon communities applying God’s truth to everyday life.  Small groups meet weekly in homes to study and apply God’s word to our lives.  Small groups are the life blood of our church.

Membership

The New Testament clearly indicates that groups of people who were followers of the Lord Jesus Christ identified themselves with, and committed themselves to a particular local body. In order to implement the principles of accountability and commitment to the local body of Christ, as defined in the New Testament and practiced in the early churches, Christ Community recognizes the need for formal membership. Membership at Christ Community is for all who are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and have visibly demonstrated that commitment through believer’s baptism.

Believers Baptism

At Christ Community, we believe that Christian baptism by immersion in water is a public identification with Jesus Christ in his death, burial and resurrection. Although baptism is not required for salvation, it is commanded of all believers and is for believers only. Scripture shows that a person was baptized after personally receiving forgiveness of sin through accepting Jesus Christ. The waters of baptism are a symbol of our death, burial, and resurrection to newness of life that happens when we become a new creation in Christ.

If you are interested in baptism, we would love to hear your story and help you take this important step of faith.
